The Program Director plays a critical role in the success of our programs. The Program Director will work closely with all in-house teams, project managers, Vice President, Client Partner, Director of Operations and our clients in the web development process. The Program Director will be responsible for overseeing all the client programs and projects associated with their assigned business.
Responsibilities:

Works closely with the Vice President, Client Partner to develop and communicate clients' business objectives and strategy to the team

Development and success of detailed project plans, including overall budget allocations, schedule roll-ups of all projects, critical path and risk assessment

Communication and negotiation of critical path, budgets and scope with client and team members

Develops process and documentation standards for team to follow with the end goal of top-efficiency and quality

Oversees and is responsible for the work and the performance of several Project Managers on the client programs.

Oversees and is responsible for staffing plans for all the client programs within this Business Unit

Responsible for performance management for members of the Project Management department

Assists in the evolution of Critical Mass as a company

Continual development of personal project management skill sets

Works closely with and reports to the Director of Operations

Assists in developing project management best practices for entire Project Management department, including training assessment

Assists in representing the Project Management department for the company
Required Skills:

Exceptional communicator (both written and verbal)

A solutions oriented leader with refined decision-making skills and the ability to lead by example

Proven ability to successfully manage multiple stakeholders

Has managed and worked directly with Fortune 500 clients

Proven ability to work on large scale CRM and/or E-commerce rollouts, including work with content management and portal systems

Has successfully managed the entire development of projects from graphic design of the interface to quality assurance of the end deliverable

Proven ability to develop and implement processes to ensure high-quality deliverables for the client

Proven acumen negotiation skills and proven ability to interact with senior-level employees
-
Ability to stay focused on the driving goals even in high-pressure situations
-
10 years project management experience, with 5 to 7 of those years in project management, interactive development
-
PMP certification desired
