The Account Director has responsibility for managing and growing the client relationship of an account or portfolio of accounts. The person in this role provides engagement leadership, develops senior level client relationships and is regarded by the client as an expert and trusted advisor. The Account Director serves as the leader of the core Critical Mass team, which partners with the client and is responsible for client satisfaction and overall business profitability. The Account Director will report to the VP, Client Partner of the Business Unit.
Responsibilities:

Financial management of account revenue and profitability for the assigned client

Develops and delivers organic growth within the account

Provides strategic direction for assigned clients within the business unit

Achieves positive results through web-based campaigns and programs

Delivers metrics on the overall quality of the relationship and the product provided to the accounts

Ensures all Statements Of Work are documented, accurate, and implemented

Fosters relationships with other Account Directors and Account Managers across the company
-
Mentors and coaches team members while motivating and leading overall project teams

Defines and implements best practices at the business unit level

Contributes to overall development of the Client Services department
Required Skills:

6-10 years of Account Management experience in Internet Marketing, Advertising, or related discipline

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field

Proven competency in managing complex teams and client relations

Demonstrated experience in formulating and driving long-term strategic account plans, strategies
-
Exhibits advanced negotiation, communication and writing skills

Demonstrated leadership abilities
