Position Summary

Summary: As the Operations Analyst, Finance you will be responsible for providing analytical and technical expertise in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and supporting solutions for internal customers. The individual requires strong business and technical knowledge. Reporting to the Team Lead, ERP Operations, this role will work to deliver business and IT related initiatives on behalf of the ERP Operations team.

Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists user community in the operation of Dynamics AX ERP and related systems.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through resolution of Tier 2 and 3 support issues, and provide support or escalation as required.
  • Assist with creation of processes and procedures with input from business teams, project teams, and IT Support.
  • Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and configurations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of complex inter-related applications/solutions.
  • As appropriate, implement enhancements, change requests, break-fixes, patches and updates.
  • Provide regular updates on task completions, issue resolution, system readiness and other metrics identified.
  • Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests.
  • Maintains applicable documentation set to ensure it remains accurate and up to date.
  • Analyze current and future application limitations and make recommendations to provide for future capabilities.

 

Role Specifications:

  • 3 - 5 years of progressive work experience in the Information Technology field
  • IT Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience supporting ERP systems a must with a preference given to candidates with Dynamics AX 2012 experience
  • Perform customer needs assessments as well as evaluating software requirements
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers, by listening, understanding and responding to identified needs
  • Ability to present information to individuals or groups; deliver presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience
  • Align personal efforts and outcomes to achieve long-range goals to meet the vision of the organization 
  • Ability to meet deadlines, control scope; identifies and manage project risks
  • Apply working knowledge of the organization roles and relationships, as well as utilize available resources to resolve issues
  • Articulate complex and advanced technical knowledge in language that is understandable and appropriate for users
  • Pursue new knowledge on a continuous basis and implement best practices of the profession
  • Meet SLAs defined in association with the Team Lead ERP Operations, as part of the PMP process
  • Adhere to all CEDA policies and standards
  • Always demonstrate safe work practices
